The UOB Gallery: Right By You.

A commemorative brand gallery telling "The UOB Story", nine decades of heritage brought to life as an immersive visitor experience, taken from a blank brief to an on-time public launch.

My scope: project lead, gallery theming, archival research, image selection for every panel, all short-form panel copy and long-form microsite pages, oversight of the panel artwork design, and digital-panel storyboards. Stepped in to project-manage roughly half of the build directly when producers transitioned.

01 · The brief

Ninety years, one story.

UOB wanted to mark its journey from 1935 to today with a permanent brand gallery. The brief was a blank page: take nine decades of heritage and make it a coherent, emotional visitor experience, then open it to the public on time.

I led the brand and owned every piece of storytelling content, partnering with senior leadership at UOB to turn dense corporate history into a narrative a visitor could feel.

02 · The approach

Heritage that reads as human.

The work balanced two truths: honouring the values of trust and stability that built the bank, while signalling where it is heading. Decades of archive material were curated into a handful of clear, emotional storytelling pillars, so the visitor moves through a story rather than a timeline.

Narrative curation

Filtering ninety years of history into a few distinct, emotional chapters.

Content ownership

Every line and every story across the gallery, owned end to end.
